Claret Occludent Battlefront (Japanese: 血界戦線, Hepburn: Kekkai Sensen , lit., "Bloodline Battlefront") is a Japanese manga serial written and illustrated by Yasuhiro Nightow. It revolves around a young photographer named Leonardo Watch, who obtains 'the All Seeing Eyes of the Gods' at the toll of his sister'southward eyesight. After the incident, Leonardo moves to the city of Hellsalem's Lot to join an organization known every bit Libra to fight several monsters as well as terrorists.

A 12-episode anime television series produced by Bones was circulate from Apr to Oct 2015. A 12-episode second flavor was broadcast from Oct to Dec 2017.

In North America, the manga has been licensed for English language linguistic communication release by Dark Horse Comics, while the anime series has been licensed past Funimation. Both the manga and anime were well received past publications due to its story and characters.

Claret Occludent Battlefront centers effectually the crime fighting system "Libra" and their battles in Hellsalem's Lot, formerly known every bit New York City. A 2nd flavour was announced in December 2016.[29] It was broadcast from Oct seven, 2017 to December 24, 2017,[30] running for 12 episodes.[31] A 24-minute original animation DVD was bundled with the fifth volume of the Blood Blockade Battlefront Back ii Back manga which was released on July 4, 2018, with Shigehito Takayanagi and Bones returning from the 2nd flavour of the anime series to direct and animate the OAD, respectively.[32]

The manga series of Claret Blockade Battlefront received generally skillful critical response.
